Help want to know if anybody has put west coast mirrors on a F450 .Any big deal other than bending a few brackets. Thanks for your Help. RAY F450

I haven't put them on a F450 but as long as you have the nutsert tool and the ability to make the brace lengths the right length it is no problem.

A taller mirror head on the mono mount style bracket from the new motor homes or buses would look better. Not that much more money after you look at a pair to fit a paccar cab or buy the seperate pieces to make it fit.

Either way putting a piece of metal in for a backer is a good idea. I like 1x1x1/8 angle full length of the door if it will go in but have settled for electrical box covers when the access hole is small.
