JLG "Skytrak" 10,000# forklift electrical issues

so I've been working on two of these things for the past 2 days... the tilt down valve is not being actuated on one *unless* you switch to "auto fork level", and the left fork shift will only work one way on the other lift.

It is all electrical to the end of the boom wherein there is a junction box that goes to 8 cables (2 for each spool valve) I've checked the power coming from the joystick to all the wires (#51-#59) that go to the junction box, they all get power up until the junction box at the end of the boom. the wire at the box that controls (#54) the left fork in does not have power.

The other one has me kinda baffled because the tilt down actuates when you switch the auto level on and I know it's not the joystick potentiometer because when you push the fork button on top of the stick and move to the right the left fork then moves in.

Can anybody give me some insight into this problem, maybe encountered this before or maybe any ideas?

the auto/man level switch could be bad..... the stepper on the spool could be bad........

get a schematic and chase every single wire and make sure it has good continuity and isnt grounding out..... all the newer JLG stuff is ground control circuits (the cround is opened and closed to complete the circuit).......

i'll have to take a look at the switch for the auto level. The stepper works, I took the connectors off the right fork spool to check the left fork spool and the fork worked just fine with that, so I think it's somewhere in the wiring.

Everything from the joystick to the main harness works, then it goes gunnybag from there, I checked continuity, resistance and voltage and everything points to the long cable that runs through the boom. the Joystick, the switch, the J-box, the solenoids, the connectors all work fine... just not that long cable in the boom, I just need to see if it's shorting out or what.
