Does it have the self bleader injectors? Some have a self bleader system that will allow you to restart the engine without bleading the air out of the system.

I would suspect you still have some air in the system.

Have you spoke to who rebuilt the injectors and ask what they set the pop pressure to? White smoke makes me think of, low injection pressure, air in the lines, bad fuel filters, or a leaking fuel supply line, or low compression.

Did it do this before you had the injectors rebuilt?

Most of the little Kubota's are good for about 8000 to 10000 hours before overhaul or replacement. If the engine is getting close to that or something like a bad air filter may have caused premature engine wear, then a pump and injector rebuild will only make matters worse. More fuel in a worn engine will make it burn more oil.

Sounds like the pump timing is retarded. white smoke and lazy = cold cylinder temp. Late timing or low compression. Also low injection pressure. Not knowing how it ran prior to pump and injector rebuild my suspect is with "rebuild" job or pump installation. Doesn't have gas in the tank does it? They are pretty lazy and hard to start on gasoline.
