IH 1206 no hydraulic power

My grandpa has a 1967 Farmall 1206 and we'd like to use it more than we do but we are limited because it has absolutely zero hydraulic power. We've put a new pump and bigger flow regulator in it but it has no change. Anyone know anything about these tractors? I'd like to figure it out so we could do some actual work with the old girl.

Not familiar with that tractor, but I assume that you changed the hyd/trans filter? Also did you check the suction screen?, most tractors have a screened suction to the pump. If its plug, there will be no/little flow to and from pump. A plugged suction will ruin a pump quickly.

If you are got an increase in pressure but very little to flow strong chance the suction side plugged. You can have good pressure with little or no flow if scv port is block so there is no flow, and but if you pressure drops off with any flow you are losing it on the suction side. Good luck.
