Yeah I heard about that, The boys at work were talking about it today. To bad, gotta be carefull around this stuff. I just finished bush hogging 15 acres yesterday, and stuff lying around me was unnerving.

I've had some spine tingling close calls over the years. They always seem to be tractor tipping scares or a dumptruck sliding on wet asphalt.

I've been really lucky, though. Nothing serious ever happened.

I never had many issues with tipping a tractor...but one thing dad was more than critical of was power take off shafts....did the old long rag trick with the shaft second, it's a long rag, the next its a wrapped up tube around the shaft.. always made me think around them..

Ya, I hate to see people stepping over live power shafts. I won't do it. Even at a slow idle, it could still get you.

I have heard of poeple getting run over by a running brush hog. Not pretty. Don't let anyone ride on the tractor fender while mowing.
