Allis Chalmers 180

Picked up a nice clean original 180 diesel today. Good tires, good sheetmetal, good paint, doesn't jump any gears, starts and runs very nice. Pretty much stole it at $3400.

We have one as well. I wish it looked as good as yours. Here this spring once the snow melts I'm gonna get it running. Its been sitting for 2.5 yrs. Theres a wiring short up under the dash. And I need to fix a brake rod.

Just going to be a chore tractor mainly. Bush hog, grader blade/box, light disking, move hay, and will get a loader on it someday soon.

I didn't care for ours when using a mower. Every time you press the clutch it disengages the PTO. So when we were using our bush hog, it would jerk sometimes, but the blades were bent a little bit and sometimes they would get stuck together and throw it clear out of wack...lol

We also had a loader on ours, kinda was a pain having to grind gears all the time between gears.

: ya I'd say you got a pretty good deal on her.... they usually go for around 5,500 or 6,000 around here in that condition... actually we got one for sale right now for 5,500 with new paint on it..... and you shouldnt have a problem bushing hoggin with it just make sure you use the power director when you want to stop, not the clutch....
