Man what a slick little unit. Has the feel of a bigger machine w/ auto idle, heat and air, and darn good power. Another handy feature is the dozer blade on the front is a 4 way blade, helps quite a bit when your dressing a ditch line.

I saw one a while back at a farm show, I bet its handy in tight spots.

94 Ford F-250, Reg cab, xlt, 12v cummins, 5 speed, 4:10s,
370's, edge jammer turbo, colt camshaft, tuned by Snap-on

99 Kenworth T800, C-12 cat power, 10 speed, 3:90 gears, ag200, ridewell tag, 24ft grain bed.

90 freightshaker, 3406a , 13 speed, um...it was cheap

Sure is. When I was shoppin for a small excavator I thought this was too small, but with a 19' reach and a bucket breakout force of just over 12,000lbs. it has proven to be the right choice.

Garage
Only mini I have run was a Deere 15 (a.k.a. Yanmar?). Strong for its size, but the canopy was so low, I had to sit hunched in the seat. A royal PITA to bleed the fuel system when some idiot runs it out of fuel, too.

A hyd. thumb is pretty handy to have, too.

I thought the Deeres were made by Hitachi.

I'm probably gonna switch this summer from a my CASE backhoe to a cab mini-ex and a 4x4 utility cab tractor, like an M-7040 size machine that can reach high enough to load my dump.
