The 112 while desirable is not as much so as the 110. The missing deck does not mean as much to a collector as does the original Kohler engine MIA, which are pricey to buy and rebuild. IMO you have a $75-100 tractor there. I bought two complete w/decks and running Allis Chalmers mowers this year for $125 a piece and a complete w/deck, but non-running Cub Cadet for $75.

I was given a 111 w/ mower deck a while back for free. Minus the engine, it is near mint condition. Engine is not repairable. They ran it out of oil.

That 112 is worth almost nothing, unless someone needs a few parts it has.

You are incorrect and I say that in the most polite way I can. These things are getting to be as collectible or more than big tractors are. I have been in the hobby for a long time now and I am fluent when it comes to prices. The reason this is worth what I said is because of the name on the hood. If it was a Simplicity product (Allis Chalmers, Ford, Oliver, Minneapolis Moline, etc), Cub Cadet, Wheel Horse, etc, it would only bring $0-$50. John Deere's bring crazy money even for junk. I would not pay it, but I guarantee you a green guy out there will.

I take back some of what I say as it was incorrect and not paying attention when I typed. If it was a Simplicity Ford or Oliver it would bring close a grand or more in it's present condition. Last running non-restored Oliver I saw sell went for $1750.

Not at the sales I've been to around here. The 110s, yes. But not the others, if they aren't more complete. Really depends on the buyer, like always. I'm not a collector, so I won't buy it.

The Cub Cadet 1250 I used to run before it was caught in a barn fire, was an awesome machine. The others that ran it also, beat the hell out of it. Just kept coming back for more. Couldn't kill it. Was a PITA to get out of the mud with all of that cast iron, though. Sure could plow snow, too.
