pto clutch on a 1066

any body know any thing about the pto clutch on a ih 1066. i helped the service tech replace it about 2 years ago and now the lever to engage the pto just flops around and doesnt engage.

97 gmc 2500 2x4 6.5 turbo 5 speed. k&n intake and muffler cut off. gone but not forgotten

on the bottom of the pto there is a plug under the valve. take it out if part of the valve falls out the roll pin that holds it together broke. you can take the valve out without takin the pto out. you can buy the pin itself maybe an 1/8 inch

This guy over at ytmag could probably help you out. I have never experienced that. So I can't help. I will be getting the true service book, much like the one I have for my 560.

i for got to add, the owner of the tractor was on the phone with the service tech and he said something about a jesus clip falling off or breaking off

I don't know if the IH's have a control cable that runs from the lever to acontrol valve but I would check that too.
