The Ford transmission/engine management software must limit all that power. The Chevy just out pulls the Ford.

GM has been really pulling out all the stops in trying to gain market share in there diesel trucks. Fords new 6.7 has been out for quite a while so GM is playing catch up. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in sales. When it comes to trucks Ford has quite the loyalty factor when it comes to buying trucks. I dont think this test or any others will make much difference in peoples preferences. But every sale off a truck is so important because off the money made off each truck. Ford has owned the diesel pickup market for quite some time an that will not change. One thing that will change is the sled pulls. I think Ford will be a major player in them in coming years after being in the back for so long.

One thing that is nice is the better fuel mileage these trucks are getting. Fuel is getting higher all the time.
