related to this [ Jake brake]

I am not sure if this is the right spot.

anyway here it is this is little diffrent than the smoke out but i am sure pretty much the same result.

I am sure some of you heard Jake brakes ?? aka commpression brake.

if so let me tell you my story sometime back i pull up to one stop light with my old 68 GMC with 3-92 Detorit [ it is basically a 3-71 but modded to take 92 sleeve and pistion ] and this dolt came up side of my truck have his music blaring pretty loud. sure i can feel his bass speaker really beating over my engine noise at the idle. i say myself Dang,,

that was loud speaker of course somehow i got smart with this guy i put my truck in neutual then progress to rev up the 3-92 detorit up to the govner speed limit [ full 2450 rpm ] and hold it for a sec then hit the jake switch at the same time i release the fuel pedal off fast BRAPPPPPPPPP un muffed sound bark out of the exhaust and sundelly the guy next to me turn down his stero down alot, and cuss at me [ IIRC he was cussing at me in spanish ]

and he was too busy cussing me out he was not watching the traffic light turn green and i lugged the engine hard and hit second gear in the tranny and really dump black smoke right the heck out of it and each gear i change i hit the " Jake " each time it really tick him off more that was a nice one

Merci, Marc
