08 superduty smokeout.

Driving home from work day before yesterday. Beautifull new superduty in next lane in fairly heavy traffic. I was sitting right at his exhaust pipe admiring his truck while we were doing the stop start at coming into a busy intersection.
I don't know if he sees me in his mirror or what but he starts revving his truck to the floor and when we creep ahead he floors it. Well it shocked the crap out of me because I wasn't expecting all the noise etc( kinda of daydreaming after work). So as I pull ahead the light turns red for both of us and I know it is on and both lanes past the intersection have opened up for both of us. Light turns green we both hit it and he gets the jump on me by a fender which was more short lived than he thought . I reel him in ,pass him get in front of him and I proceed to smoke him out . Which goes to show you just because it's brand new don't mean it's fast. BTW all this by just the other side of the intersection.

Must have been a fairly large intersection :

JK Good job ! I've seen a few of those new 6.4L's around town, and I can hardly hear them at all. They almost sound like a gasser. Without the red vent badge on the side, I would not be able to tell the difference.

Intersection was big, 6-8 lanes of traffic. Sweet truck and it sounded like a gasser when he revved it too. I was starting to get worried because I was facing the tailpipe when he revved it like that.
