First Official Kill

Well today my buddy was talkin smack over my truck saying it was probably super slow and that all Ford Diesels are junk. I told him i could own him in a race anytime. Well he took me up on that offer earlier today. I drive a 6.4L Powerstroke with DPF/DOC deletes, Spartan 275, and intake. He drives a brand new RT dodge 1500 short wheel base regular cab with a Hemi, intake, and exhaust. We took our race on an empty highway which was divided by a thick tree/brush so there would be no cops on the other side. We start at a dead stop. I put it in 4wd and built probably 10psi while his buddy waited for me to spool a little. He yells go and i let it rip. Had him off the get go by probably 1 truck length. Then about 50mph my Torque converter finally stopped slipping and locked up and I gained a good 3 lengths on him. I let off at about 95mph with 4 lenghts ahead of him. I romp on it again and i throw a Code. Pull over at a bank, shut it off and talk to my opponent. He said hes never lost a race with that truck and has beat every diesel hes seen. Im also undefeated as of right now. I will say that those new dodge 1500's have some get to them. Not a bad race for me. Would have had another length or two if i hadnt taken it out of 4wd so early. I switched back to 2wd and left a good line of rubber and it set me sideways for a few seconds. He wants a rematch in a few weaks when he gets a programmer. I'll probably take him up on that too.

I didnt have my wing man in the truck this time. Next race I should.

By the way hes a sore loser. Today hes ordering a programmer, and a 50hp shot of Nitrous. Were gonna line em up again when he gets it all done. I'll try to get the next one on video...it will probably be an in cab vid though.

naw, im saving for a Suncoast TC right now. The 275 is enough for now.

He came to school yesterday with their new challenger with a volant supercharger wanting to have a rematch.

wow. sounds like you got him scared. I would run him from a dig. chances that supercharger is a little too much for him and scrubs it off the line.
