My story

Every morning I end up behind a Powerstroke consist with a trailer and backhoe. For some reason they trailer this rig home every night at least 50 miles and back the next day. On the hills, they do 40. I usually wait for a good spot to pass with my stock Z71 gas crewcab. Usually they attempt to speed up while being passed like lots of folks do and I have to nail it to get back in line. It's a two-lane for 5 miles so if you get stuck behind them you're hatin life.

Yesterday I ended up at a red light on the four lane, and the "consist" rolled up behind me. I was in my stock Dmax crew this time. Took off from the light and the truck and trailer immediately pulled out to pass, I put my foot in it a bit but let off at 62 or so. The pile of machinery rumbled past, that Powerstroke sounded great, and accelerated to like 80, blowin smoke. He left me in the dust. I knew I'd end up doing 40 behind him on the hills but today I didn't care.

A few seconds later a State Trooper flew up behind me, and lit up. Passed me at 90+. Two miles down the road I slow down and move over for a trooper with Powerstroke and a beat up backhoe on the trailer pulled over. The driver is very upset and is waving his arms...

So I guess I lost.

Real nice Tom.

Life changes, so roll with it, not against it.
