Duramax vs. 01 S/C Harley Edition

OK....

starts out were on the interstate.

He comes by me pretty quick..so I'm like hmm...

I bring it up beside him..he takes off..so its on..

To the floor i go..were next to each other...

But i hit the rev limter at 112mph and he kept pulling...

so we happen to get off the same exit...red light..."rolls window down..damn that truck is fast for a big *** dually."

"thanks...she's got 237k miles and 4 bad injectors...wanna go from a Dig?"

"ok"

So..we finaly find a red light we both have our own lane.

Light drops.

I didn't do a boosted launch. I hear his (h)eaton just spolling up (man those things sound mean)

We are close...my trans shift's to 2nd she starts to slip...he pulls a lil. then 3rd gear comes around..i pull on him...his bumper in next to my doors...i can still hear him on it..we both let off

I got him...and thats w/ a 65tune and a trashed trans..

So..wait til the s/c stg3 comes in and i stack the Edge...good bye ford!!

I'll have some fun blow'n smoke..

You sure it was an 01? I have an 01 F150 and the only thing I ever saw supercharged was the Lightning of that year. The Supercharged Harley models were 2002 and 2003 with 340 HP vs the 380 HP the Lightning had of that year.

None the less you took a truck that weigh about a ton less and whooped him.... Good kill

but you're right....
I liked the turbo whine in my 03 was great...
and then heard my nephews Lightning "SCREAM"

those superchargers just sound so cool !!!

but my 4x4 launch would still get him for a bit before his underdrive pulleys and all caught me

yeah a lightning is fun to drive, i went to a local used car stearlship and duped the salesman to let me drive it, he tossed me the keys(being 18 and all) he went with me and he actually told me to get on it hard, he had just started, and he told me not to tell the guys back at the lot what we did with it. we did a few burnouts, a few 0-100's and so on. we got back and i only had to give him my cell phone number, i told him it had too many miles 88K for a truck like that being abused for soo long 2000 model, and he called once liek a week later and that was the last i heard from him, but yeah cool truck though.

I remember my lightning fondly, she had a meeting with a drunk and a ditch.
Those S/C Harley's '02/'03 are some pretty fast trucks, with a few mods and a good driver they can run. But not like a tuned diesel. I got 1, it was my cousin's '02, I felt bad because it was a fellow harley truck, but I couldn't take him running his mouth anymore.

What Excuses? He was saying that even with a slipping trans and a low power tune he smoked a s/c'd Lightning.
