DT466 powered F350 pullin' video

For all you DT466 lovers out there
its a 00 F350 7.3 gone DT466 with 1500hp pulling 317 or 327 feet, i cant remember, took 1st place, its a monster to say the least, you should hear this thing idle. They also had a john deere diesel powered 84 F350, very very very nasty rig, and a duramax with a single hoodstack that was also insanely nasty, wicked loud, louder then the DT466, pulled within 10 or 15 feet of it also. Wish I'd of video'd that one, all I got was a picture, having our oneida county pulls next saturday the 1st, I'll video them then if they show, also some spartan 6.4s I'll get.

That DT466 looks like it could have pulled the sled right out to the parking lot. They hold together so well when modified. They're so freakin strong.

I wish we could get him on here to help us mod our DT466's a little better. lol

haha, his name is Doug Dano, hes pretty big in the NY pulling circuit, a few members know him. I know Fuzzys69 (i believe is his sn, has two 6l's, one for sale) knows him. Truck was a built up 7.3, done by swamps, and he had a 97 swamp donkey puller from there, but they never held together, never ran good, etc. etc. the DT466 is a strong show though.

The 7.3's never could hold together. He was smart going to a DT466.

I wish he could get us some tips to get a Dt466 in the 300-350 range but keep the EGT's cool enough for a work truck.

Just call Columbus Diesel Supply. Pump, injectors and turbo came from there. That's about it as far as performance mods. The rad is in the bed like franks (powersnorters).

I have some ideas along those lines that I'm workin on. I just need a test mule. Package deal kinda thing. R&D is the expensive/ hard part. I wouldn't think a 1500hp package would be a great idea for a work truck.
