Okay guys. We need your help. Currently we have the Video Giveaway, and the referral giveaway giong on, and we want to do another. We want something that will bring more interest to the Dodge, Chevy, Medium Duty , and competition forums. This Giveaway will have a BIG:Thumbup: Prize associated with it, and we want our members to help decide how to do it. So, give us some Ideas...

Here's an Idea,... How about you guys doing a "on line" truck show? Then you can have the members, or the sponsors, or even both, vote on a winner! Best Dodge, Best Chevy, or however ya'll want to do it.

Hi,

How about a reaction time contest?

You could do it, three ways:
1.) Either have the members post their best reaction time from time slips. It wouldn't matter from when it is.
or
2.) I don't know if it is feasible but I could provide you with a tree program to download. Is it possible to make it interactive so that others can view and confirm the times?
or
3.) The members could also play at their leisure, choose the r/t they want to submit from the program and post a picture of it as proof.

Just an idea and I think it would be fun. It would also be applicable to the competition forum.

The best r/t would win. Or, you can put the names of the member who submit their time and pick the winner out of hat. Only one submission per member.

Come on guys & gals. Let's throw out those ideas.

I got another one :roflmao: After this Domingo may request my rights to post be taken away indefinitely :roflmao:

We'll call it "Sell Yourself" and basically you have to post why you should be King or Queen of TDG. In reading previous posts, it might not be too popular being that you are all so humble

The winner would have their picture in the front page of the site for say a month with the caption "King/Queen of www.thedieselgarage.com". Of course, the moderators would have to agree and I will send you the crown, for the picture. Can't have royalty without a crown.

You can include pictures of your vehicle, yourself or whatever. The funniest would win.

It doesn't really apply to specific forums but it's an idea.

Well this is going to be a tough one since we are working with two different manufacturers, and both are excellent Trucks each with their own shine department. How about the Idea of who can create the best "TECH" or "MOD" article for their particular manufacturer, this will not only bring some extensive knowledge to the their Forum, but will contribute immensely to NEW and other existing members as well searching for tech / performance / upgrade. The article does not have to be of performance only, it could be of any major modification done to their vehicle and written as an article in a thread.

Three Moderators could be chosen to pick out the best article posted on their correct forum, The moderators would be PM'd with their entry to enter the contest.

This board is all about KNOWLEDGE, let's keep it pouring in, especially for our other members in the Dodge, Chevy and Medium duty.

Pictures within the articles of the mods will gain higher point values.

Just an Idea...

thanks
