im a idiot

what damage can occur if you run the motor with the timing pin out of the motor? like I did it was only running for 15-20 seconds to make sure everything was working right......

Ummmmm Jordan, I am not sure the exact damage that can occur, I reckon it aint good at all tho.... Though I have to ask WHY would you do that? I mean you're a mechanic and work on diesels all day. One would think you'd be a little more careful/knowing bout these things...

doh. Hope no major damage occured!

1st off when I lashed the valves I was a litle tipsy....... and I was cocked when I stared it ..... I did notice a big oil leak.... I think thats all that happened........

Just dont forget to pop it back out when your done with it and nothing can happen

P7100 built by Redline Diesel Power, 18* timing, #10 plate, 3k gsk, edm'd DV's, .093 injection lines, 370 marine injectors, head milled and o-ringed, AIS Water/Meth, HX-52 charger, Custom 5" downpipe to 5" Mitre Cuts, K&N Cold air intake, held back by a Valair 13" Ceramic/Kevlar clutch.

445hp and 1076ft-lbs on the stock turbo. 5-2-09

NO... I didnt like I asid it was only ran for about 20sec's then i wondered why there was a puddle under there then I was timing a DOHC mazda and the word timing pin rang a bell and I was like OHHHHHH CHIT......
