CAT B,C replacement covers for AFRC and FF primer

If you want to completely remove the AFRC, CAT p/n 8N-3799 is the cover to replace it. Why not (no pun intended) you probably have it set at the smokiest setting anyway?!
You'll need the big yellow o-ring and the smaller 3 ones and a 5/16 Dia X 3/8 L X 24 tpi bolt to plug a oil port on the lower end, block side of it. And a 1/8" NPT plug to plug the intake manifold line hole. Use the short 2 old adjustment cover bolts to install the new cover.

Credit to Ynot for the heads up on this piece.

Do away with the fuel filter primer pump.
CAT p/n 6N4414 and 1P-0436 gasket is the replacement cover.

Whatever your reason to eliminate the primer. Potential source of air leak or In my case I use a Fuel Preporator which fills all the filters.

A tip is to drill the passage in the cover and filter head to 3/8".

I did the removal of the hand primer and drilled it out, but I put the hand primer in a plastic bag and keep it in the toolbox in the truck just in case.
