US gear Overdrive out of production

NOTE: The Dual Range is COMPLETELY out of production.

US Gear Corp has been sold, and the new owner completely scrapped the tooling and old parts. It's gone. I have not parts, Sorry.

They are completely out of production, no factory parts available at all. I am out of it. It's all junkyard and scrounging from individuals or shops who may still have stuff. Like as in old brownie boxes. Sorry. good hunting!

I got this from the link below.

I was going to buy one, the gear vendor is not beefy enough for what i do.

Thanks for the find. Two years ago i bought an od system for my cummins/gmc conversion. I really wanted a u.s gear unit, but they had dropped so many of the products for the 2wd trucks, which created some concern on my part. They also dropped the cyclone fan for the 7.3 powerstroke shortly after i bought mine. Low and behold i had issues with my fan system which they took care of, but the tech guy told me they had to scroung for parts to get me going. I'am like wth, i bought the system brand new 4 months ago! Between their lack of support and my gut feeling i went get vendor. Had early issues with their unit also, but it they took care of it and 2 years later all is still good.. I do keep the real heavy loads off this truck though[ 10 tons and up]..

I sure do - https://www.thedieselgarage.com/forum...d.php?t=105458
The unit is tracking on schedule & should be delivered tomorrow.

If the unit gets here in time, ill try to get it bolted up and get the drive shaft measured
so i can have it cut down by friday and re-installed friday night or saturday.

Gotta slight distraction - some POS dirt bag smashed the window in on my wifes
brand new 2010 Miata HD today <they took the only thing in the car - the insurance
paper/proof of ownership> - so i have to find a window for it tomorrow...and buy
some more ammo for the *******s that did this !
