12" Subs in a crew cab Ford?

Okay guys here is my latest adventure! I have an older sub box with 2 12" JL audio 12's in it that I am going to see if I can fit behind my rear seat in my dually. The measurements I took looks like it will fit but you know how that goes. I've removed the carpet piece off the rear wall and that opened up some more room but I can't get the base of the sub box to drop past the seats (need about 1/2" more) so I'm taking out the rear seats and going to try to see if I can put the box in and then remount my seats. I've taken measurements of the box so I can give them to you guys if this works. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to git r done and I'll have a progress report for ya on Sunday night. If this works I'm gonna cut a hole in the metal tray thingy to make room for an amp.

What amps are the best on the market? It's been a while since I've been in the stereo game so I need some help here!

One user, can't remeber who right now, made a set of offset brackets and remounted the rear seat. moved it ahead about 1 inch and up about 1/2 inch. Something to think about. If I can remeber who, I'll link you to his photos.

What kind of power are you looking for? Of course JL makes good amps but they are way overpriced, ED (Elemental Designs) makes a nice cheap mono amp, Memphis, Arc Audio, US amps, Sundown, Memphis Belle and ect.

I do have a PG Xenon X600.1 mono amp new in the box that I would sell for $240 shipped. I had it benched and it put out 856 watts. It puts out the same power at 4, 2 or 1 ohm.

ive got a 12 behind my seat in a ported box (Memphis M3) and my boz after installed was a little too big for the seat to fold all the way back so we took the seat off the brackets and moved it up about 1 1/4" and it fit good... thats an idea for you and you cant tell the seat was even moved

2000 F-250 cc Super Duty, TS Performance 6 pos, Exhaust, AFE intake, in dash tv/dvd/mp3, Memphis 12" sub in ported box, 20x10" Mazzi Hulks with 305-55-20 Toyo Open Country A/T's, APC projector headlights, Chrome wheel-to-wheel nerf bars...uhmm plenty of other B/S!
