Question Bed cover or tool box?

Bed cover or tool box?
I got a 2006 Dodge and donít know if I should go with a tool box or a bed cover. If I go toll box I want a deep box and a good one. If I go bed cover I want something I can take off if needed or be locked. Fiberglass is not an option.
Dose anyone here have the bed cover that is built like a garage door. It stores in a box mounted in the front of the bed and can be locked when pulled out to cover the bed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Iím tired of the back seat of my truck always being junked up.

I don't have one but am interested in getting one. Pace Edwards has a good one. I am told that you have to allow 10" in the front of your bed (near cab) for the box that rolls up the cover. I am just trying to justify $1500.00 for one of these. A steep price but good looking unit.

I went and got the tool box that sits on the deck of the bed, not on the rails, so that I can add a cover later if I would like.

Im

a big fan of flush mount boxes so you can put a roll up cover over it.

I have the PAce Edwards roll up tonneau for a 99-04 short bed superduty...It is a nice piece, expensive, and I am looking into selling it, the rails just need a little paint, they are a little chipped up..Over $800 new..I also like the Tek-Style tonneaus on my moms 03 F150, and my dads 05 F250, they snap, and have bows but they look clean!

i have a truxport bed cover. it is velcro on the sides, but you can put a tailgate lock on and prevent anyone from getting in the bed because you have to put the tail gate down to roll it up. i like it because the supports roll up with the cover and it still supports me standing on it. picked it up on ebay for 200

i second the truxedo soft roll up cover. I wanted the hard roll up cover but some of the guys up here were saying it can ice up and affect the way it rolls up. I added the behind the seat storage from du-ha for the small junk. I can always add a low profile tool box under tonneau cover later.
