i gotta buddy w/ bfg mts 35 12.5 and they ride ok down the road but taking off till about 10-15 mph is real bouncy! unless your plannin on doing a lot of off roading, i would personally go with an aggresive A/T tire...

Never ran them but im a Toyo M/T kind of guy. With a straight piped diesel you don't here the tire noise and they ride much better than the 285/65/16 bridgestone dueler revos i had before.

For 285/75/16 I get a cut and grooved set, AWESOME dirt and mud traction! I get a set of 5 tires for 250$ Some might have some light scratches and they are definitly dirty when i get them but other than that they are brand new (only 1 race). I love living where there alot of off road racing guys:Thumbup:

Lots of off-road travel the m/t are worth it. Mostly on the road, IMHO I think you'll be happier with a good a/t as 6l strokin said. (especially for wear and ride)

I used to run 35" bfg m/t on my 97 f-350 powerstroke and loved them they rode nice were quiet and usually lasted a good 40,000 miles before replacement was needed. I'm sure they would have lasted longer but I liked to get moving and hated slowing down when turning. I went with 35" pro-comp mt on my 79 and will definatly be going back to the bfg in the future.

I've run a set of the bfg m/t for a little over 50k,they work ok for light offroad all around use. They ride good on the highway, and don't have alot of road noise if rotated properly.
