Driving Lights

I am kinda shopping around for some driving lights to mount on my Bullbar. 6" rounds will fit.

I found some PIAA's that I like...but they are pricey. Are they worth it? What about KC's. The smiley face covers are a bit cheesy...but are the lights good. What about Hella's? I just want to pursue all the options before I lay cash out. Guess I'm looking for the best bang for the buck.

Thanks

Both Piaa and Hella are good quality lights...I don't have any experience with KC. How much are you looking to spend? There is something to be said about quality. I was running some 100+ watt procomps on my last truck and replaced them with 55W Hella Black Magics...and the Hella's blew the Procomps away...

I saw those Hella's. They look really cool...I just can't drop 2 bills on a set of lights right now. IF possible...I would like to stay in the $100 to $150 range.

Dave,
Hella 500s are cheap. I don't have these so I cant tell you if they are good. But the price was around 60-70 dollars for a set of two. Check them out here.

Well then there is always the REDNECK version lights that perform just as good as the Hella, PIAAs, etc...

I've got 4 - 100 watt aircraft landing lights in front of my truck. Only 2 of the burn in low beam mode and 2 burn in high beam mode. But they light up at least 1/4 mile down the road and as wide as a 4 lane highway quite well...

The bulbs are $15 buck a piece and can be bought at NAPA.

Just a cheap version to toss in the pile!
