Recon third taillight

Has anyone bought one of these in any of the colors. I want one of the smoked but want to know if they look just as good as the others on the market?

I don't have one yet, but am thinking of getting the smoked one soon. I have their smoked cab lights and am very happy with them.

I have heard they are good as stop lights, but the LED cargo lights stink for lighting up the bed at night.

Mine lights up the bed area just fine (if not better).

If it lights it up just as well as stock then I might have to buy one for myself.

Thanks for the info, I have heard otherwise, but now,

It lights up just as good on my truck. It may not light the front of the bed being that LED's work more as "spots" instead of "floods" like incandescents. Mine lights what is left of my bed after the toolbox and even lights up the ground 10' behind the truck after the passes over the tailgate.

Think I will be ordering one for my truck this week. Thanks for dispelling the rumors I have heard in the past.

I just put my smoked one in last week. (along with the smoked cab lights and mirror lights). The brake light part is good and bright. The bed lights, like others have said, light up the rear portion of the bed well and the ground behind the truck. They dont light up the middle of the bed or the top of the toolbox as well as stock, but its not a big deal. Its easy enough to see back there still.
