Who is running oversize tires on their dually?

Hey fellas, i've been throwing the idea around for a little while and I want to put some bigger tires on my truck, thinking like 305/70r17s with a 2" spacer in the back and leveling kit. I'm just wondering what everyone else is using and how it's working out for you. Eventually i plan to step up to 19.5s with some 265s but until i can save the money for that this will do.

Why not just save the money you would spend on the 305's for the 19.5's with 265's? Burn the life out of the tires you already are running and replace the whole set when they are worn out and the life is out of them. That makes more sense to me. But that is just my opinion,

i'm with tony ....by the time you buy tires and spacers it will amount to close to the same as the 19.5's but my friend is running over size tires on his truck and he doesn't have any problems

how do u figure that he would be close to the price on 19.5s??? my brother and i both run oversized tires on our trucks. im runnins 315s and he is runnin 305s. he has about 900 bucks in his tires and spacers and has 3 inch spacers in the rear. i was runnin 2 inch spacers on the 35s til the spacers broke. id go with the spacers over 19.5s cuz 19.5s dont have a really aggressive tread pattern that i have ever seen.

i've looked around and for 19.5s i'm looking at 4-5k i think with wheels adapters and tires, and i'm getting to the point that i don't know if i want to spend that much money, and like 6lcummins says there really aren't any aggressive tread patterns available, not to mention they will ride like crap being a heavy duty tire i would think,

those are the tires im lookin into gettin actually and they are a good product.

My brother is runnin their mud-terrains that have the extra bar down the center and they are a tad noisy on the road but ride great and look sweet on the truck too.
