GPS mount

so i just got a GPS for xmas. Garmin Nuvi 260W. for those that have a GPS, how do you have it mounted?

I would be careful permanently mounting it...Just gives someone another reason to try and get in...I keep mine in the center console...

i dont want to permanantly mount it. just something that i can clip it in and out. maybe a window mount would be nice.

My window mount always falls off when im driving and scares the crap out of me. Im just sitting there shifting gears, turning a corner, and it throws itself clear across the dash. Maybe my window is faulty?

Mine does the same thing....I keep it in the cup holder when I'm using it now

I use the garmin friction mount. It is portable and I can hide it when it is not being used. It doesn't slide when taking hard turns. You can find them anywhere they sell the GPS.
