Rim Help......Blast and Coat???

OK....I'm flat out tired of losing the damn rim covers and rings off the Dodge. They are expensive to replace, and it looks like crap when your missing one.

Sooooo, I was thinking about just painting the rims. Probably black since its an all white truck.

Do you get them sand blasted then powder coated????? What will work best and last the longest?????

I want them to look basically like this...........I know the truck in the pics is a Chevy, but its the same basic concept I'm going for.

Watcha guys think??????????

I talked to a guy today that will blast them and paint them for $40 per rim. Full sandblasting, then hardcore primer, and a good quality paint with alot of good hardener......watcha guys think?

Is that a good price???

I would say 40 a piece is a very good price.

Kevin, I wire wheeled, and then cleaned up my trailer rims real good last winter, then just primered/painted them. Probably $20 for 4 (one side), if that much. They turned out great, and still look like they did last year.

I would think you could strip and paint/seal them yourself without too much trouble. Will anyone see the inner wheel on the dual wheels? May not need to do them.
