Ok, so that's a 6" stack in the picture, not 8". Not sure why they are using our pipe display for 8" stacks, we don't offer them, let alone black stacks yet.

If you want black stack, here is the most cost efficient way to get them. Purchase raw stacks, and hit them with high temp. grill paint. This will give you the look you want with keeping some change in your pockets. Best part about it is, you can touch the stacks up easily if they ever get scratched.

I used high temp black paint from a rattle can also on my stack for the pulling truck. Erik and I have done 3, IIRC. No problems with any of them. I did what Josh said, just purchased a raw stack. The other 2 we did we scuffed up the chrome and washed it good with some nasty junk that stripped the oils, then painted.

exactly, or go to CAT dealership and go to parts, order this 4C-4199 Black Muffler Paint for CAT machines.
Resist up to 538c(1000 F)
says here and i havent tried but says that once properly treated, forms hard, lasting finish that resists salt spray and will not chip or peel.
