Beware hornblaster kits!!!

I just bought a brand new kit, and when i went to install the kit the air tank has something jingling inside of the kit, its a big peice of metal, so when i called hornblasters they told me that i had to pay for shipping there defective tank back to them then they would ship me a new tank, i was arguing with the guy saying this is not right at all, i already payed for shipping once and i should not have to pay for shipping twice due to a defective product that was shipped out ther door. I will never have any more business dealings with this company at all. I feel i should not have to pay for shipping on a defective product that they sent me, and i wrong on this or not... The guy basically hung up the phone on me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE GUYS

That sucks. I've heard in the past that they had good customer service. Maybe call and talk to someone else?

I almost had this happen to me also, I ordered some lights, when I got them I noticed one light was not working right, so I emailed them, told them the deal and the guy said to take pics and send them to him, to prove it. So I did that, and he sent me a new set of lights. There were 2 lights per box and only one didn’t work, so I got 1 that worked, and the new box of 2 under warrenty. So I came out on top…and I can fix the broken one too

Not a bad deal for me.

I would agree they should not clip you for the shipping. I build tanks real similar to those air tanks. We have a shaker that we run them on to bust loose any weld slag before paint. It's funny but it doesn't take much slag to make it sound like it has a big piece of crap on the inside. I would just shake it out or go after it with a magnet. You would be surprised at the lack of a cleanliness spec on those types of tanks. Either way I would clean it out good before I use it. It will just save you from problems down the road.
