Will these speakers fit my truck?

I have the stock size 5x7/6x8 door speakers and want to upgrade for better sound. The speaker I have are sony, but they aren't uch better sounding than stock ones due to small size. I would like to mount the speakers in the same area/holes. Can I make 6x9's work in the factory location with little modification? Is there a better size speaker for my truck (see sig) that I haven't thought of? Thanks

I've also got a 99 supercab, but the holes were all 6X8. I went with 4 of the best Boston Acoustics I could find. I don't remember the model name, but they sound really good, now I just need a better head unit.
