Canadian EPA So To Say

I have an egr deleted and am straight piped. I will be traveling into Canada at the end of this week with the truck. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Canadian "EPA". Or is it not worth it to take the truck up?

I've traveled back and forth into northern Ontario every year, 5 times with no issues. Just your normal questions, who you visiting, how long you're staying, any alcohol etc, etc. I dont think they are worried too much about your truck as to what you're bringing into their country. Just have all your paperwork together, passport for everybody in your vehicle and dont joke around with silly, stupid statements. They WILL search your vehicle and belongings and take up A LOT of your time. Keep it real and professional. You shouldn't have any problems.

Also, before you crossover make sure to fill up your truck. Diesel is 1.10 a liter. 4 liters to a gallon. That's $5.20 a gallon U.S!!!!!

2006 F-350 CC, LB, SRW, Lariet 5sp Auto. Burgandy Exterior with Tan Leather Interior. 4" Exhaust turbo back. Studded with ARP bolts 6/15/2013 with OEM Gaskets, SCT Custom tunes by Kem Performance, Isspro gauges, Blue spring kit upgrade. Coolant filter, Afe pro guard 7 stage 2 air intake.

Thank you for your input. Usually when we drive through in the girlfriends car its very smooth and fast. Probably because she is a Candian Citzen. I just dont want them to jump all over the "illegal" mods to my truck. Them Candains are very protective of the enviroment.

Just checked my math . Diesel is $1.30 a liter last I checked. Where do you crossover at? Sounds like you'll be ok.

Its only a four hour trip each way we live in Minot North Dakota. I cross at Portal ND into Saskatchewan. I just dont want one of them to be having a bad day and slap me with the fines that the US could if they cared.

I know of a Canadian who frequents the states all the time in his 6.0L, and it's nowhere near stock putting down over 1000hp.

Canada Bound.

Good to hear. I'm right behind you. Leaving Sunday morning for Thunder Bay. Fresh oil change with Schaeffer 5W-40 and archoil 9100 and 6200 in the fuel. This will be my last Archoil oil treatment this year.

Got camper just about ready and loaded. Cleaning RV-A/C unit tomorrow, truck, etc.etc Cant wait to get going.

Have a great time. I'll be crossing over at Grand Portage. Last U.S. gas station before you get to boarder crossing. Well, there's a station there but I fill up in Grand Portage. Casino there too. Good buffet.

take care.
