Importance of proper oil filter and cap
I know all of us regulars here in the garage are well aware of this for along time now, but just thought I would bring this nice little article up as a refresher for any new 6.0L owners about the importance of using a factory oil cap and filter.

I wonder if there is more info on Ford allowing the rights to MANN to make these filters.
I purchased a MANN filter a while back to do a comparison. I still have it in my tool box.

Great link to your thread about that Mann filter. I wouldn't use it either. Used to be Mann filters were oem quality on German cars, but that filter is just wrong, might even be a multiple application design, but not in a 6.0L.
