STC Fitting

I here about this STC fitting that fails but what is it? I know it is for the HPOP but what does the STC stand for?

Snap To Connect. It's a two part fitting, made installing the later HPOPs a little easier on the assembly line, but the high system pressure tears up the o-rings and they leak oil pressure from the high pressure system before it even gets to the heads. The update is a solid single piece with a jam nut and o-ring at the pump, and it will not fail.
