pre-programmed ScangaugeII for 6.0L
I forgot to mention this awhile back, and some of you may know this already, but BPD sells new ScanGaugeII's that are already pre-programmed for the 6.0L PowerStroke. This is nice, because even after all the ones I have programmed for people, it's still a pain. This is the way to go if your in need of one, actually every 6.0L owner should have one.

Is there a way to complete reset it I want to redo my x gauges order and just want to clear it like when it was new.
Early 2004 F-250 4x4 CC 6.0


2nd owner, ARP studs 1 at a time, Some parts missing in the exhaust path, BD intercooler hoses, Blue spring, MC filters, Sinister coolant filter, Exhaust manifold gaskets, WARN lockouts, Gold coolant, zoodad mod, autometer boost gauge, high idle mod, Scangauge 2, SCT X3 tuned from KEM, autometer fuel pressure gauge, Archoil 6200 in the fuel, FICM by Ed w/ATLAS40, autometer pyro gauge,'08 Alum Rear Diff cover, 5w-40 Rotella T6 w/ Archoil 9100 in it, zert in the slip joint, harpooned fuel tank, 6.4 banjos


Not a diesel mechanic in real life but I play one on the Internet

I've never tried it on the ScangaugeII, but I think if you select "default" on the menu settings it may erase all your coding.

This is how it works on our laptops at work when were programming or coding a vehicle control module, or programming a control module menu options, it will give an option saying reset to default settings or reset to factory settings, which erases everything that was previously selected or programmed.

I would probably give Linear Logic a call first, they are very responsive to any questions.

So, which PIDs do they program into their SGII?

Also, is there something particular anyone is looking for for PIDs?

Edit: I haven't seen the injector codes work, both on off and misfires.

This is a great list of additions for the ScanGauge, I especially like the cumulative misfires for cyl 1-8 and injector timing, actually I like the whole list.

I have not seen the misfires work. Never got them to work for me.
