Oil cooler

I have a 2006 f250 the oil temp is about 25 to 30 degrees above coolants temp. I was looking at oil coolers and you can spend anywhere from 75 to 400 dollars I know you get what you pay for but are the cheaper ones that much worse than the higher price ones? Has anyone had bad luck with the cheaper ones? Thanks in advance

Most techs will say stick to the OEM parts, and especially the o-rings/gaskets. The cheaper ones will have you repeat the job in weeks, maybe months.

It's quite a job to R&R. Search for diesel tech ron's video on youtube. He was one awesome dude!
