I just had mine replaced for about $1700 including labor since it was just out of warrenty. The tech said that it could have been my edge programmer but I hooked it back up and all is well. It seems to me though that they put it in a bad location due to all of the heat that it receives. Heat and computers usually dont mix!

Mine was replaced back in 04 when it would just kill the truck while driving then comes back on. They went through a bunch of stuff and had the truck for about 2 weeks just to figure out the problem. They blamed everything but the truck but the day it went there it wouldn't start and left the diesel tech stranded out on the road.
