Pretty sure you can change the spring, but 55psi would be fine. You don't have to have a regulated return, some people recommend it, others say its not necessary.

mine was a 55 and it wouldnt keep up, we installed the 60 spring and fitting and now it never drops belowe 58, i know it dosnt make much sense because it wasnt producing the flow but the bigger spring must have helped a little....

Wait for FASS to release the RR they are working with because the two regulators get messed up.
I would never buy another fass any way lol.

I'd get one of the new Airdog pumps, they just released a good one for us.

i was going to but i wanted this fass first and thats what my dad heard me say so he got it then i found the new airdog but it was to late...i heard its release date got postponed till sometime in jan.
I really like the FASS myself, I only had problems with the balls getting sucked through but other then that my FASS has been flawless, and after replacing the ball it hasn't had a relapse. And up until recently Airdog didn't have a comparable pump unless you wanted to risk running it beyond their designed limits, the new one would be nice since it's cheaper then the FASS. As far as RR I wouldn't think it would be necessary, but I would recommend replacing the banjo bolts or punching them out.
