edge insight

does the edge insight monitor the fuel pressure and oil pressure...and if so are they reliable?...i would like to get it but i know it would be going thru the ecm to get the peramiters and the oil pressure sensor only gets to a 7 psi and says that it is normal(acording to the 6.0L bible) does it do the same for fuel pressure...or would i be better off with normal gauges. Thanks.

I have the insight on my truck and it doesn't monitor fuel pressure. But i was told that edge is working on a way to do it. As for the oil pressure, not really sure, but i think it can monitor oil pressure.

For now its not available on the Insight. You maybe better off doing standard gauges or getting the Quadzilla Commander with the fuel pressure gauge kit.

You can see them here:

Thx,

autometer does make an oil pressure gauge. As for an autometer pyro that goes above 1600, they make one that goes to 2000 degress if that's high enough for ya.

You can get them from summit racing. You could drill and tap the plastic caps but you could also get billet caps from elite or DJ that are already drilled and tapped for this. But i think you can use a port on the engine mounted fuel filter housing for the fuel pressure.
