Last winter I had my turbo cleaned (it was starting to stick). Since then when you get over 25 lbs of boost you get a "tea kettle" like whistle from under the hood. This really only happens when its cold outside (below 40-45). Seems to have no effect on performance just wondering what it may be. Truck is an 05 w/ MBRP turbo back exhaust and SCT. Will do it stock or with any of the tunes from ID. It also does NOT puke. Any ideas??
...It may not puke now, but I have to tell ya, that is exactly the same sound my engine started making about a year ago. Shortly thereafter, my engine started puking...little by little until the last 4 months or so before I tore mine down 2 months ago, I had to add a gallon of coolant roughly every 2 -3 weeks!
I milked it as long as I could until I finally bit the bullet and did the head studs and new head gaskets after the HPOP STC fitting and FICM failed simultaneously!
