Heated seats

I'm not too sure if this is the right forum to place this in but here we go anyways, I have a 06 f350 stroker and my heated seats are acting up, drivers side will turn on all by its self in the summer and that gets annoying, during this winter though not too bad being -43c it's really nice! But the passenger seat now does not want to get that hot, just above warm.....with that being said it would be nice being a cold winter so far. What can I look at/for to fix this? Is there an easy way to test something out? Any help would be great, thank you!

sounds like the switch or the thermostat thats built into the heating pad.

1st the pads dont get hot (trap heat) unless someone is in the seat, so you
cant expect to turn the heat on and put your hand on the seat and feel the
full effect of the heat (you have to be sitting in the seat).

ive never liked the way the seats heat in our trucks....cycling on & off...i want
em on all the time.

my wifes subaru legacy didnt have heated seats & i installed some...they work
great (stay on) have a hi/lo setting & im WAITING for the day the pads in th etruck
stop working so i can install the ones i put in the wifes car !

check ebay or http://www.warmseats.com/ for aftermarket options if you dont
wanna install the ford ones again
