Ford or Wix OEM style air filter

Just wondering if anyone has any facts on the the OEM style air filter for a 6.0L. The Wix filter is about half the cost of the Ford filter at O'Reilly. I wonder if there is any difference in quality.

Personally, IMO Go with the Ford.

ARP studs, sct, Leveling kit,Airdog set at 62psi with no factory pump, leveling kit,5" stacks, under cab lights, Large in the way Fan shroud Removed, bed Lights being Re-did. Large Alternator(250amps)(130 amps was so 2003). On 3rd set of Hgs(soon to be 4th), 2nd set of heads, 2nd tubro, egr cooler, FICM and more. When i Turn the Key it does return a Favor, not always in MY Favor.

Donaldson "Relative Efficiency" - 99.97 (Ford states 99.99% removal of particles 1 micron and larger PLUS holds 2.5 - 3 lbs (1200 gms) of dirt).

I don't know if anyone's ever bought from them before but dieselfiltersonline.com has the ford filter for around $50

I wonder if i can buy directly from Donaldson. Their plant is right next to my subdivision. I may stop in the office and see.
