Air Bags

Ordered a set of Firestone Ride-Rite Airbags. When hitched up to my 5th wheel I am just 400lbs from my rear axle weight rating. Just want to reduce the sag when loaded to give more suspension travel when loaded and hopefully give a smother ride. I figure this will give me a 3500 srw weight capacity since the only difference is the extra leaf on a 3500.

No.
I got Air compressors at 2 shops, home, portables and airtanks, so the cost doesn't justify it with all the air I have access to. Even with the good deal on what I paid I will try it without on board air. Its not like I am changing loads every day
UPS is supposed to deliver this Thursday, then a week later I will hook up the 5th wheel and take off.

Bags came in today. Install job was one of the easist jobs to do. Took less then 1 hour, did not even have to remove the wheels. The worst part of the job was getting dirt in the eyes when lying under truck, threading the air lines under the bed to the rear bumper. To much dirt being on the farm

Will post pictures next week when hooked up to 5th wheel so you can see difference in ride height.
