tranny issue or not

I started my 07.5 6.7 6speed auto and took off easy hit the highway 1 mile later and at 65 mph it did not shift to 6 gear went 2 miles down the highway and then it went into 6 gear Do these have a lock out when they are cold or do i have an issue?

Sounds like it was just cold, mines does that to.

The tranny oil temp must get up to a certain temperature (60* IIRC) before they will shift into 6th.

Remember not to talk bad about farmers with your mouth full!

cool, I didnt think there was an issue cause it works so good any other time.
