Axle joints

Number 3 for axle joints.Every dodge that i have bought has had axle joints changed. I was hoping the 2010 would be different but i got 44500 miles on her and she needs new ones. Thinking maybe Chevy next round!

2010 6.7 cummins 4x4 crew cab short bed 6 speed auto 4:10 gears stock for now. Draw tite brake controller

No kiddin man? I had an 04 5.9 (122,000 miles) an 07.5 6.7 (88,000 miles) and now an 06 5.9 (79,000 miles) and haven't had to do joint on any of them. Guess I've been lucky.

What are doing to ruin the u-joints
Have 105,xxx miles on my 07, did 165,000 on my 99 1/2 ton and have pickups on ranch around the 200,000 mile mark and still running originals.

I wish I new man its the only complaint I have with Dodge but all 3 trucks have had front end problems u joints wheel bearings and balll joints. And I really don't use 4 wheel drive much usually just in the snow.

Greaseable would be nice but I will settle for warranty (lol). On this one I just got back from camping was putting the camper away had to use 4 wheel drive shortly and unhook. When I left pulling out of my lane the steering wheel was kinda bucking like it was still locked in. So I kept going and noticed a shake/buck in the steering wheel mainly while turning. Went back home jacked her up turned the wheel to the left spun the tire and the joint was sticking trying to straighten the wheel out. Took her to the dealerships and they said ther shot!

I lost one around 60k. Didn't do anything special, just daily driving. Started noticing a clack that corresponded to speed coming from the front. Took her in a sure enough front left was bad. Dealership didn't want to give me warranty on it though. I've been looking at some CV shafts that Diesel Power Mag did an article on a few months ago.
