Wore out my Michelins LTX AT2 tires at 51,000 miles. My original Michelins A/S lasted 62,000 miles. 50-60k is the best I can do because of so much driving on gravel roads on the farm. In the past in 1500 pickups anything over 30,000 miles was doing good.
The AT2,s were ok new but once they wore 1/2 way down, many of the grooves closed up and then they were to slick in the dirt and grass. Don't need a true mudder tire since most miles are on the highway/towing. Problem is I also put on a lot of miles on packed gravel/dirt roads on the farms and the rocks just chew up the tires and wear them out.

Put on Bridgestone Revo's 2 to try. Have had the orginal Revo,s on my 1500 and liked them. The revo2 seems to be a bit more open on the tread then the first revo's, so they should be better off road.

I have a set on my GMC, well I do for winter they seem like a good tire, Mine are 265 70-17's the tread is not as wide as the original Bridgestone 700's I bought an extra set of rims to run those out. Tire track rated them very high.

Mike, My A/S only went 30K.. I have 25k on my LTX AT/2 and you can't hardly tell they have been on a week. That being said, the Pop's half ton is in need of new shoes, but a 20in rim is hard to buy for, but I really like this tread design for him if it comes in the right size. How do they feel towing?

Neel, I havn't towed with them yet, so don't know yet.
I think there will be be some tread squirm initially because of deeper tread until they wear down some. When I put the LTX AT/2 on, I towed my 5th wheel when they were brand new and they also diffently had tread squrm that you could feel in the mountain curves. Once they wore down some then it disappeared.

I towed with mine when they were new with the dump trailer, hauling rock and or wood I never had any feeling of instability, on both gravel an pavement.
