Reseting Oil change message
I know how to reset the overhead oil change indicator( key on, press "go pedal" 3 times slowly within 10 seconds). The question I have is: When changing oil before message shows up and you reset the indicator, is it actually resetting or do you have to wait until the message shows up? I just reset it when I know its not time yet.
Seems like if you reset it before it shows the message, its not really resetting. I say that because sometimes the message comes up quite early with out a real change in driving habits(seems my foot is on the heavy side
Now at 114,000 miles, and never
had a dpf plugging warning
