Programmer for 6.7L cummins and a manual trany

I have an 09 dodge with the 6.7L and am looking to buy a programmer but a lot of them I read about mainly talk about automatic trany's but I have a 6 speed manual trany is there anything that I need to be cautious of or need to know about, & which one should I go with?

It would be best if you told us what you do with the truck. Also do you want to deleted it or leave the DPF intact.

As far a the 6sp is concerned, your clutch will not hold a lot of abuse on higher tunes. You may even have to upgrade your clutch to hold the power of the higher tunes, (depending on which programmer you go with). Do you want Gauges or do you want a digital display? ( I prefer gauges to the display).

I plan on deleting the DPF when I can cuz I hate it.
Mostly I am looking to get better fuel millage, but also plan on buying a 5th wheel trailer.
I think I'm going to go with the H&S Mini Maxx.
As far as the clutch goes what do you suggest for it.

HS Mini max is a good tuner with a monitor. Also look at the Smarty Jr. ( You will need gauges with it)

Call South Bend and talk with them about clutches. How many miles do you have now. You may be good to go for a while if you stay with a tune under 100 horse.

I have around 56,000 miles on it right now, I try not to ride the clutch and don't over work it to bad.

I would expect your clutch to last a but longer as long as it is not abused on high tunes.

I second what neeltburn is saying. i just put the Mini Maxx in my truck. have not noticed any better fuel savings yet (only ran about 1/4 tank with it tuned) but i have been told that the 6.7 with the Mild tune (+60hp) runs about 2 mpg better. i like all the gages that come on the H&S. however if you like the old school look if real gages then go with a Smarty jr
