New injectors

At around 23,500 miles the fuel pump went out on my 09 6.7. The dealership picked the truck up installed a new fuel pump. No sooner than they fired it up they say all 6 injectors went out. What could cause this to happen? I was wondering about sparatic fuel pressure from the bad pump. Or possibly getting the fuel system aired up? Or dirt or grit getting past the fuel filter? They had to replace the fuel bypass valve too. But while it is in their hands i cant get much input on the problem. Any info from any one would be nice!

Fuel quality, water in the system many things can cause this. Are they going to warranty it? If so, Id let them foot the bill and go on. I have had 2 CP3 start leaking. I replaced the pump myself and put a AirDog II 100 in for better filtration. In your case with that few of miles I would wonder if you got a bad set of injectors. Also if so what additives have you ran?

Yeppp! Their payin for it. I havent ran any additives in the truck since ive owned it. But i dont know about the previous owner. I bought the truck used with 18.5k on it. It did have a airdog 165 gph fuel pump on it when i bought it. But they said that since they sold the truck like that they would fix it. I wondered about a bad set of injectors but all 6 at once? Is that really common?

Not at that mileage, so did they pull the AD? If so why?

Well i sure lucked out. All 6 injectors. New sending unit. New fuel rail. New fass pump. All new fuel lines. New fuel bypass valve. 5 extra gallons of fuel. And they washed and detailed it. Truck runs alot better than it did before and mileage went up. They explained to me that the sparatic fuel pressure caused all the injectors to crack. So when they put the new fuel pump in it the truck flooded out and had a bad fuel knock. So they sought it best to replace all of the fuel lines and fuel rail because of damage it may have caused down the road.
