Well its finally happened
. 123,000 miles and I can honostly say its the first time I have see the "80% dpf plug see owners manual" message on the overhead. I had Catalyic full warning, but that was due to the high pressure relief valve on the rail bypassing at a low pressure. Anyway took it out onto the road at 80+ mph
and in 2 - 2.25 miles it cleared itself. Hooked up scanner to obdII port to check for codes and none
To be honost the last couple of days I've had quite a bit of slow driving and probably to much idling while driving thru the orchards checking bloom progression and mapping out sprayer schedules. They have been running 20 hrs/day lately. If it doesn't happen again its just proof that the 6.7 doesn't like a lot of idling, low load conditions, must keep it working.
Remember not to talk bad about farmers with your mouth full!
